10.30 and 15.30 Appointment in the  Castle Square in SPERLINGA .. one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, urban trekking + visit to the unique Rock Castle and the Borgo Rupestre with the village in the rock that make Sperlinga the Matera of Sicily! Visit to the weaving workshops and the Gallo-Italic linguistic memory.


Duration of the visit about 2 hours and 30 minutes

Routes not suitable for wheelchairs or disabilities that affect walking.


Ticket for Sperlinga Castle and rock village 3 euros for everyone.


Contribution Excursion guided tour with qualified guide:

5 euros per person. Excluding small children.


The visits will take place with a minimum number of 10 people, with exceptions to be agreed.


You can book the typical Sperlinga dessert "u torton" fried bread dough passed on sugar and cinnamon at a cost of 1.50 euros per person

Panoramic route between churches and views of the San Felice da Nicosia passes (Capuchin Franciscan friar) and beyond. We will visit the Cathedral. . Artistic nativity scenes unique in the world..Church of Santa Maria degli angeli .. Cappuccini overview.

Tasting along the way (typical Nicosian products .. Craft brewery .. Buffalo mozzarella from Nicosia .. Typical sweet Nocattolo .. With visits to the farm if requested)

One of the most beautiful villages in Italy and jewel of Italy.


Between tradition and innovation.


We will visit the only Sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Spirit in Italy.

Palazzo Bongiorno, main church, streets of the village, museum (Giambecchina art gallery, archaeological, weapons, peasant civilization: 3 euros for groups) and other points of interest

Visit time about 2.30 hours. Easy and accessible route largely for wheelchairs.

03-06-2018Trame rupestri - tra i suoni battenti dei telai

      

Il 3 Giugno 2018, si è svolta a Sperlinga, la prima edizione del Festival della tessiitura dal titolo "Trame rupestri - tra i suoni battenti dei telai". Il nome rimanda fin da subito al suono dei telai che vengono "battuti" per fa si che esca il prodotto finito, la FRASSATA; tipico tappeto sperlinghese. Prodotto artigianale di eccellente fattura, ricercato da molti, la Frassata, con la sua tecnica di lavorazione e le sapienti mani che la creano, ammalia i visitatori che restano incantati difronte alla maestria delle tessitrici.

Quello della tessitura è un progetto in evoluzione che la Pro Loco di Sperlinga porta avanti dalla sua riapertura nel 2017.
